A man of many mediums, Andy Eppler is creating art to stimulate us in many ways. Exploring spaces like liquid light, painting, music making, and even podcasting; Andy is cooking up creative content for us all to enjoy. With so many different areas of his mind to explore, let's start first with his visual art.
Playing with your thoughts and appreciating them too is the major intersection my mind goes too when viewing Andy's art. He plays with the simple and makes it fun for viewing. This can be seen time and time again in his work evoking "Yes Voice." An idea that delves into saying yes to more opportunity and doubting oneself less when faced with a potentially brighter horizon. The favorite work of mine of course being the one that sports the kindest sport of them all.

Other areas worth noting are Ando’s Thinky Time podcast. Here we get a different, and more personal, look into the mind of an artist. One that is lighthearted and shows that no matter the creative, we are all just people at the end of the day. This bridges the connection between art and artist for me in a way that allows me to more closely relate to his work.
In a musical space, Andy has been producing sonically for quite a while. Seeing official releases since 2008, he has explored the music world with guitar in hand and the pipes to boot. I appreciate that he has also explored more of a spoken word project that covers a wide array of topics. Each coming from a unique and personal lens.
Andy is back in the saddle making music, and has released his new track "Losing the Lobelia" earlier this month. This is a return to a more traditional musical style, yet one that still is completely Ando. I suppose to be an artist working in such a large breath of fields, there is no room to be anything but oneself.
A man with many ideas and the drive to share them. Andy Eppler, AKA Ando the Artist, proves to us all that we can say yes to the ideas the bloom up inside us.
